2020 FLHXSE, original owner. I have several performance upgrades that I ran with the Thundermax ecm. And even though I became quite proficient with the TM ecm, my scoot just did not perform to it’s full potential, especially after cam upgrades. I went to a local shop and had a PV tune & dyno, but it just didn’t cut it… too much popping between shifting. Yea… not a great tune, there had to be something better. More research, almost went to Tampa, but then found Corey at Doc’s Performance Tuning in Minneola (Orlando area). I thought, what the hell, I’ll shoot Doc’s an email, and I could not believe that Corey responded that same day! We went back and forth in email and then had a phone conversation. He seemed like the real deal so I booked a cam swap, TTS tune and Dyno. Man… what a difference! From customer service to quality of workmanship, Corey is a great guy and a master HD mechanic & tuner who will always make time to answer your questions and provide the best professional advice. Don’t make all the costly mistakes that I made, take your scoot to Doc’s Performance Tuning and get it done right the first time! I won’t take my bike to any other mechanic from here on out. After 61k miles I finally decided to take my se255 cams out of my 2017 Fatboy S. I put the cams in labor day weekend. I called Corey to get a tune and left a VM the sunday before labor day. Tuesday the day after labor day Corey called me back. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, which caught be off guard because in my head, the rest of us had the holiday off why shouldn’t he lol. He penciled me in for the today, and to say I am pleased with the results would be an understatement!

I have a 2017 Fatboy S with the 110″. After 62k miles I finally decided it was time to put some cams in which I did last weekend. Needless to say, the bike needed a tune. I reached out to Corey, and he fit me into his schedule. He let me hang out

2021 CVO that looked special but didn’t feel so special. I have a 2021 CVO That my wife and I fell in love with the minute we saw it. After I took it home I was not impressed with its performance so I had the dealership do a 131 kit in it and after about 2000 miles of riding I realized it didn’t seem that different to me. I contacted Cory at Docs and after a few conversations with him I knew they were the guys to go with. Two days later I left with not only a CVO that looked special but felt special when we ride it. Thanks to Cory and Doc for a great transformation!

Cory did a fine job dyno tuning my 2019 Stage One 114ci M8 FLHTK. He fixed a big problem I was having with the tune I installed from another vendor. The bike now runs great. No flat spots, no decel pop and a nice increase in torque and power. He also went out of his way and took the time to adjust my stem head bearings to fix a bad high speed wobble. I can highly recommend him.

In October 2023 I took my 2022 Road Glide to Doc’s. Cory put another cam in and a tune. When I spoke to Cory on the phone prior to my appointment he was down to earth and straightforward about what he was going to do, you can tell this fella loves/ knows what he’s doing – zero BS. I just had my 10k service done at my local HD. I was standing outside when I saw tech pulling in with my HD performing his road test. I walked around and the tech was doing some last minute stuff- he gave me a look and I informed him that’s my bike. First words out of his mouth- “ who tuned your bike “? Doc’s did and he just smiled and nodded, he knows Doc and Cory. I asked the tech when he realized it has more oomph and he responded- soon as I throttled up. So there ya go. Spend the $$ and get your gurl that enhancement that she deserves-

After spending more than 6
weeks trying to set up an appointment without any luck with a well known builder and tuner in pinellas park I found out about Doc and Cory. The service and tune were unmatched.

I had Doc tune my older bikes and when I got a new 18 roadglide M8, I had to have him work his magic on tuning it right and making her happy. I dropped the bike off and waited in the air conditioned office and a few hours later Doc tells me to roll her back off the dyno and take her for a test ride.
I could already feel a night and day difference from when I brought her in. The bike sounded healthy, ran smooth and pulled strong. No hiccups, no decel pop, and she even ran a bit cooler. Took her down the road she felt like train pulling strong and very responsive.
After some stop and go in traffic I was able to open her up a bit and man did she stretch her legs and get up and go. As I made my way back to the shop I was all grins ear to ear. It just felt like right. She was very happy and Doc could tell from my smile that I was boat loads happy too!
When people get a dyno tune everyone is out for the highest numbers at wide open throttle. But if you think about it, how often do you actually ride there? My bike rides and great through all my normal riding areas AND at wide open throttle. Shes perfectly tuned and responsive across the board at all speeds, gears and rpms. I cannot stop bragging about the excellent tuning services of Docs Performance Tuning. and if your smart, you will ask him questions and listen to what his says and the advise he gives. Everytime I see him I learn more and lightbulbs go off in my head.
